About Me
My Story
My first job was at Domino’s Pizza (yep, making pizza 🍕). It was there that I truly learned what it was like to be part of a team. Although not a tech role, many of the skills I learned became foundations of my product career.
I’ve always loved technology and been fascinated by business. I started my career as a Service Delivery Manager in Enterprise IT, a role that let me sit at the intersection of two domains and work on the question, “how can technology help make the business more successful?” Answering this question is what I enjoy the most.
While working as a Service Delivery Manager, in order to save for my Masters, I also took a part-time role in the HelloFresh UK in the Customer Care team. During my time on there, I saw opportunities where technology could help the agent productivity by reducing manual tasks. I built some software to do just that. In a whirlwind of events, I was soon moving to Berlin to start as a Product Manager for the HelloFresh Global Team. Since then, I have never looked back.
I’m lucky enough to have a career I genuinely love. Sure, it has its challenges but the opportunity to solve interesting problems with a diverse set of colleagues is a really rewarding experience.
My Background
I write on Medium on Product Management topics that interest me the most.
I originally come from the UK, and am currently living in Jersey. In my free time I enjoy running, rugby, model trains and board games.
My Skills
Product Management is a broad discipline, but here are some of my key skills:
Agile Product Development Process (Discovery & Delivery)
Experimentation (particularly quantitive)
Team Building & Team Culture
Stakeholder Management
Leadership
Communication & Alignment
Digital Transformation
My experience has primarily been in Scale-Up (High-Growth) and larger organisations. However, I’m open (and excited) to work with individuals and companies at all stages.
